Ingredients:
1 ripe papaya
1/2 cup chia seeds
2 cups almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Fresh berries or sliced fruits for topping (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Chia Seed Pudding:
In a mixing bowl, combine chia seeds, almond milk, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract.
Stir well to combine. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, then stir again to break up any clumps of chia seeds.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight until the mixture thickens into a pudding-like consistency.
Prepare the Papaya:
Cut the papaya in half lengthwise and remove the seeds using a spoon.
You can either keep the papaya halves as they are for serving or scoop out the flesh and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
Assemble:
Once the chia seed pudding has thickened, spoon it into the papaya halves or serving bowls.
Top with fresh berries or sliced fruits if desired.
Serve:
Serve chilled and enjoy your nutritious and refreshing papaya with chia seed pudding!
Tips
Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey or maple syrup according to your taste preference.
You can also add toppings like granola, nuts, or shredded coconut for added texture.
This recipe is versatile, so feel free to customize it with your favorite fruits or nuts!
